Hector Conde Speaks on Arroyo Grande Wednesday, March 19, 7-9 PM
The Arroyo Grande proposal for 9,000 acres of State Land north of Oro Valley has made many headlines over the past weeks. The issues of water and infrastructure are a major concern that will affect each and every Oro Valley resident, especially those in Sun City Vistoso.
Hector Conde will conduct a meeting on these and other issues at the Fire Station on Golder Ranch Road on March 19, 7-9 PM.
Hector has been following land use issues for years. He worked as an engineering consultant for medical, army, and nuclear physics research labs and served as a consultant for the state of California, the US Government, the University of California, and private entities. He has authored 17 technical papers and 7 US patents. Conde worked for two Nobel prize winners, Bernardo Houssay and Donald Glaser. Since his retirement in 1992, he has been a resident of Arizona where he has participated on 16 environmental committees.
Directions to Golder Ranch Road Fire Station:
Go north on Oracle. Just before Bashas, turn right at the traffic light onto Golder Ranch Rd. Go about half a mile; the Fire Station is on the left.

I would love to hear from Hector, but unfortunately there is a Town of Oro Valley Council Meeting at the same time. On that agenda are two items of great concern:
A "giveaway" of $360,000 to Sanofi-Aventis.
Approval of four 36 foot high industrial buildings to be built right in front of homes in Neighborhood Two.
We must attend and watch our Council members squirm over their votes!
Yes and if you can't stand to watch the action or squirm in person, tune in via computer :)
