One More Reason To VOTE FOR ONLY GARNER & LATAS

The Feb 13 Explorer published the responses from the 3 incumbents & 2 challengers on their position concerning Economic Development Agreements.

Hopefully our readers can decipher rhetoric from fact. As we see it, Bill Garner & Salette Latas state their position is a straight-forward concise manner. As for the others, it's easy enough to say one thing, but voting records don't lie.

If you believe, as we do, that a change is absolutely necessary in how our council operates, you'll vote for ONLY BILL GARNER & SALETTE LATAS.

Read the five responses from The Explorer here.

Voting for Salette Latas and Bill Garner are the two easiest changes to make in Oro Valley.

In "General" Parish opposes it, but "Specifically" he supports EDA's for Wal-Mart/Vestar. Especially when they [Vestar]are willing to pay off his campaign debt!

Deciphering their [Parish & Dankwerth] responses is like trying to pull a splinter out of an armadillo.

Ovwebsleuth,
I hope people can read between the lines on this.
Terry Parish supports EDA's , he
told the voters to support them.
He appeared in the glossy material we all received from Vestar, telling us over and over again what this "deal" was going to do for us.
What the h ll did it do for us?
So far we have a movie theater, we have a super wal-mart, and the same stores that are all over in every strip mall on every other corner.
Did he really believe the Vestar pr, well if he did, then he is too stupid to be on council.
And if he did not believe the Vestar bs, then use your imagination on what to think
He told us to vote Yes. He told us to vote Yes to allow the give away of the potential of 23.2 million.
Now is is upset that we won't be spending over 150 million for a park.
He also says that he will encourage the council to vote again and again to include more spending on this park.

Thanks mscyote, I did read between the lines and I absolutely agree with your assesment of Parish!

I remember the big "glossy" Vestar postcard as well..."$119 million in tax revenue...blah, blah, blah", I wasn't fooled then, and I am absolutely NOT fooled NOW! Funny that he is taking the "Family Man" approach this time, I guess we can assume that any glossy propaganda sent out by Parish is either a lie or half-truth!

Parish was "romanced" by David Malin of Vestar and they "bought" him out. No better than a prostitute on a street corner. I hope that he at least wore protection! YUCK!

We just got another postcard from the Terry Parish committee.

This makes 3 mailers within the last few weeks.

Understand that these mailings are very expensive.

We also noticed that the post card and mailers list a Phoenix, AZ Permit
WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS????????????
