Our Question Of The Week last week asked how our readers thought Steam Pump Ranch should be funded. We gave you two options, which we believe the Town Council may consider. Option (1) was to allow commercial entities at the site to sustain the Operation & Maintenance costs. Option (2) was the possibility of a nominal ($100/yr/household) bond to fund these costs.
We received a few responses with diversified opinions, but if appears not too many of us care one way or the other. Or, perhaps not too many people know anything at all about this historic Oro Valley site which was the homestead of George Pusch in the 1800's.
Responses can be assessed on the LOVE web site.

AZ Star Writes About Bill Adler
Bill Adler, deservedly was highlighted in The AZ Star in their series of articles about growth issues in Oro Valley and other "suburban" communities around Tucson. You will be hard pressed to find anyone with the concern and compassion for Oro Valley than Bill Adler. It was nice to see this fine gentleman receive the recognition he never seeks. I was happy that the Star reporter gave me the opportunity to say a few words about Bill.
