The AZ Star reports that OV has, and continues to hire a consultant to assess the town's efficiency.
The cost to do so doesn't come cheap, and we'll probably end up spending in excess of one hundred thousand dollars once all the appropriate departments are evaluated.
We're not determining if these are wise expenditures. We'll leave that up to you and others. We would only ask, if it is determined that some departments are over-staffed, can we expect the town to act and reduce the number of personnel?

Oro Valley Council Will Vote On Religious Institutions
On July 19, we posted an item advising that the Town Council continued the discussion of allowing Religious Institutions in residential neighborhoods. If you check the "Upcoming Events" (listed in the left column), you'll see the issue is due for a vote at the next council meeting on Sept 19.
There's no guarantee, but we expect the council will determine the best solution on this issue will be a "Conditional Use Permit" (CUP). This will allow Religious Institutions, but anytime a Permit is required, a "CUP" would be necessary.
If you want your voice heard on this issue, the time to do so will be Wed. Sept 19.
