We received an inquiry from a blogger asking:
“Ever since I moved here full time, the people I've met and socialized with all seem to feel they are living in a paradise. So what’s the scoop???” Apparently, the blogger thought we were being unduly harsh on or town.
Our response? Yes, in some ways Oro Valley is a paradise. But,Oro Valley is far from being a paradise when it comes to governance and the decisions that town council, mayor and management make, decisions that are slowly eroding our “paradise” into just another costly place to live.

"Oro Valley has great weather, terrific views of the Catalinas, super golf, proximity to a major University, good hiking, swimming, low crime, decent schools."
Exactly! And that should be enough to attract businesses that pay good wages that enable people to buy good homes and support other local businesses!
Why are we giving away millions of dollars in corporate welfare to attract businesses that sell cheap Chinese junk and pay poverty wages?
Exactly OVMom.
And I bet that any candidate for Oro Valley council will be asked the same
questions.
