The Oro Valley Town Council will meet Monday afternoon in executive session to discuss candidates for Police Chief. There are four candidates.
Two candidates work in the department. They are Commander Chris Olsen and Commander Kara Riley.
Two candidates are from outside the Oro Valley Police Department. They are Gregg Jacquin and Chris McCall. We believe that both candidates are retired police officers. If we are correct, Jacquin retired in 2018 as Commander from the City of Chandler; and McCall retired last year as Police Chief in Hobbs, New Mexico.
The town identified these candidates after conducting a four month national search.
